ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST HELENS (VICTORIA TERRACE, RAINHILL) (PERMIT PARKING ORDER 2018) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 1st November 2018, the St Helens Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the effect of which will be as described in the schedule below:-

SCHEDULE

Victoria Terrace
West Side
from a point 94 metres east of the junction with Victoria Street
to the intersection with the extended western property boundary of number 1 Victoria Villas
No waiting at any time
Victoria Terrace
South Side
from a point 15 metres east of the junction with Victoria Street
to the boundary of Nos. 19/20 Victoria Terrace
Permit holders only Mon-Sat 10am-6pm
Victoria Terrace
North Side
from a point 17 metres east of the junction with Victoria Street
to a point 94 metres east of the junction with Victoria Street
Permit holders only Mon-Sat 10am-6pm
Victoria Terrace
East Side
from a point 8 metres north of the property boundary of 20 Victoria Terrace
to a point 36 metres north of the property boundary of 20 Victoria Terrace
No waiting at any time
The above restrictions were initially introduced for an experimental period of up to 18 months, however, The Council now deem it appropriate to extend the provisions of the Experimental Order indefinitely. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 5th November 2018, and includes a plan illustrating the effects of the Order, may be inspected at the Place Services Department, Traffic Engineering Section, Wesley House, Corporation Street, St Helens, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Monday to Friday.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Act 1984 or that any requirements of the Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
