WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 LONGSHAW STREET AND HAWLEYS LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council Intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on the following:-Longshaw Street - From its junction with Dallam Brook to its junction with Hawleys Lane for a distance of approx. 370m

Hawleys Lane - From its junction with Boulting Avenue to the railway bridge on Hawleys Lane for a distance of approx. 260m

The Order will be effective from Wednesday 1st August 2018 for 5 weeks between the

hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday, when signed on site. The works are to

be undertaken in stages as per diversion signs on site.

The alternative routes will be as follows:-

Hawleys Lane - via Longshaw St, Folly Ln, Kerfoot St, Winwick Rd

Longshaw Street - via Longshaw St, Folly Ln, Kerfoot St, Winwick Rd, Hawleys Ln.

Hawleys Lane (between Longshaw St & Boulting Ave) - via Longshaw St, Lewis Ave,

Boulting Ave

Longshaw Street (North of Hawleys Ln junction) - via Longshaw St, Lewis Ave, Boulting Ave

The closure is required to undertake highway improvement works including kerbing, drainage, associated footway and carriageway surfacing.

CHURCH LANE. GRAPPENHALL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of driving and clearway order on Church Lane from its junction with Broad Lane to its junction with Glebe Avenue.

The Order will be effective from Monday 23rd July 2018 for 7 weeks between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Church Lane, A56 Chester Road, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa or via Broad Lane, Grappenhall Lane, A50 Cliff Lane, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa.

The restrictions are required for works to the Heritage Area reconstructing and relaying cobbled road surface, including drainage improvements.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (BELMONT AVENUE) (PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a Prohibition of Entry from the lengths of roads specified in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice into the lengths of roads specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule. Details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted area and a Statement of the Council's Reasons tor proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Rebecca Lee of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 2nd August 2018 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (ORFORD GREEN (A50). ORFORD) (ESTABLISHMENT OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING) 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, by the installation of Zebra Crossing facilities on the road as specified in the schedule to this Notice.

A copy of the plan showing the site of the crossing and the Statement of the Council's Reasons may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. CONSOLIDATION (AMENDMENT NO. 38) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers on 11 th July 2018. The effect of the Order is as follows:-

A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason tor making the Order, together with a plan of the restricted area, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 11th July 2018, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
