WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 VARIOUS ROADS IN POULTON NORTH & CULCHETH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be as follows: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway St Bridget's Close - For its entire length. Churchill Avenue - For its entire length. AttJee Avenue - For its entire length. Allen Avenue - For its entire length. Wigshaw Lane - From its junction with Glaziers Lane to its {unction with Pendle Gardens. Barnwell Avenue - For its entire length. Bumham Close - For its entire length. Ellesmere Road - From its junction with Heswall Avenue to its junction with Burton Close. Jackson Avenue - From its junction with Wigshaw Lane to its junction with Glebeland. Glebeland - From its junction with Jackson Avenue to its junction with Rathmell Close. Clarke Avenue - For its entire length. Hampson Avenue - For its entire length. The Order will be effective from Monday 4th June 2018 for 10 weeks, between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm when signed on site.
The alternative route for Churchill Avenue, Attlee Avenue and Allen Avenue will be via Belvin Avenue, Eden Avenue, Warrington Road and vice versa. The alternative route for Wigshaw Lane will be via Glaziers Lane, Warrington Road, Common Lane and vice versa. The alternative route for Barnwell Road will be via Claremont Road, Roughlea Avenue, Brookfield Road and vice versa. The alternative route for Ellesmere Road will be via Wellfield Road, Twiss Green Lane, Lodge Drive and vice versa or via Wellfield Road, Kirkby Road, Lodge Drive and vice versa. The alternative route for Jackson Avenue and Glebeland will be via Wigshaw Lane, Common Lane, Warrington Road, Lansdowne and vice versa.
The alternative route for Hampson Avenue will be via Warrington Road, Newchurch Lane and vice versa or via Warrington Road, Church Lane, Avon Road, Thames Road and vice versa.
The restrictions are required to undertake carriageway and footway surfacing works.

ALDER ROOT LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Alder Root Lane from its junction with Alder Lane to the Borough Boundary with St. Helens. The Order will be effective from Monday 14th May 2018 for 4 days between the hours of 10pm and 6am, when signed on site.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic will be via Hollins
Lane, Newton Road, Mill Lane, Church Street, High Street,
Crow Lane East and vice versa.
The alternative route for westbound traffic will be via Alder
Lane, Fir Tree Lane, Lumber Lane, Collins Green Lane,
Penkford Lane, Pennington Lane, Common Road, Crow Lane
West, Crow Lane East and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out
bridge examination works.

SYCAMORE LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 18th January 2018. The effect of which was to introduce a prohibition of driving on Sycamore Lane from its junction with Tankersley Grove to its junction with Blakehill Drive.
The Order was to be effective from Thursday 1st March 2018 for 9 months, however due to delays on site the works were unable to commence therefore the closure is now required to be effective from Monday 14th May 2018 for a period of 9 months, this will be dependent on access to the site by Network Rail therefore the closure will be in place when signed on site.
The alternative route will be via Whittle Avenue, Moran
Drive, Santa Rosa Boulevard, Boston Boulevard, Sunset
Boulevard, Burtonwood Road and vice versa.
The closure is required to facilitate construction works/
operations associated with the Warrington West Station
- southern platform construction.
