ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended)-SECTION 14(11 THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS [HOLLY BANK STREET, AND THE CAR PARK AT THE REAR OF 42-56 ROPER STREET, ST HELENS] (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREDY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles to proceed in either direction along Holly Bank Street, as and when directed by road signs on-site. Holly Bank Grove traffic will be able to utilise Parlane Street for uninterrupted access to Merton Bank Road or Pocket Nook Street throughout the works.

The car park at the rear of 42-56 Roper Street will also be closed for the duration of the works, and will be utilised as a site compound.
The Order will come into force on Monday 26th March, 2018, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be September 2019.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the construction of 66 dwellings.
