NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall be permitted to proceed in either direction along the 360 metre long section of Public Right of Way No.343 from Walkers Lane (GR 351550, 391359) to the intersection with Public Right of Way No.310 (GR 351322,391593).
IS that the St. Helens Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall be permitted to proceed in either direction along the 360 metre long section of Public Right of Way No.343 from Walkers Lane (GR 351550, 391359) to the intersection with Public Right of Way No.310 (GR 351322,391593).
An alternative route is provided from the start of Public Right of Way No.343 at Walkers Lane that proceeds from Point A (GR 351550,391359) 42 metres east along Walkers Lane to Point C (GR 351586,391382), then north along Famdon Avenue for approximately 175 metres to Point D (GR 351500, 391527), before continuing north west along a path for approximately 220 metres terminating at a junction with Public Right of Way No.310 Point E (GR 351334,391628) which is approximately 35 metres north of the intersection with Public Right of Way No.343 at Point B(GR 351322,391593).
The Order will come into force on Monday 12 February 2018 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. It is, however, expected that the works will commence immediately and will continue for approximately 6 weeks.
The reason for making this Order is to enable sewer diversion works at a bridge positioned mid-way along Public Right of Way No.343.
