NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
RUNCORN ROAD AND ADJACENT STREETS, APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 The effect of which will be as follows: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway Runcorn Road - From Chester Road to the Borough Boundary close to Moore Lane Bellhouse Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m Holly Hedge Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m Mill Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m Underbridge Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m.
The Order will be effective from Monday 13th November 2017 for 6 weeks between the hours of 9pm - 5am when signed on site.
The alternative routes will be Runcorn Road via Runcorn Road, Calmington Lane, Newmoore Lane, Wharford Lane, Pitts Heath Lane, A558 Daresbury Expressway, A56 Chester Road and vice versa. The restrictions and closures are required to undertake carriageway surfacing.

VARIOUS ROADS IN APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be as follows: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway
Birchdale Road - Its entire length Ash Lane - Its entire length

Kingsley Drive - Its entire length Dale Lane - Its entire length

The Order will be effective from Monday 13th November 2017 for 6 weeks between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm when
signed on site.
The alternative routes will be:
Birchdale Road Via Red Lane, Whitefield Road, Walton Road, London Road and vice versa or via Red Lane, Kingsley Drive, Warren Drive, London Road and vice versa.
Kingsley Drive Via Red Lane, Birchdale Road, London Road and vice versa or via Red Lane, Windmill Lane, Quarry Lane, London Road and vice versa.
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake carriageway surfacing works.

ACADEMY WAY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING&FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to introduce the following:-
Temporary Prohibition of Driving - Academy Way (eastbound traffic only) - From its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Bank Street for a period of 1 week.
Temporary Footway Closure - Academy Way (northern footway) - From a point approximately 10 metres east of its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Academy Street for a period of 18 months. The Order will be effective from Sunday 12th November 2017 and the restrictions in place when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Bridge Street, Mersey Street, Bank Street, Academy Way.
The restrictions are required to facilitate the demolition of structures adjacent to the highway and construction works associated with the Time Square development.

MOULDERS LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and footway closure on Moulders Lane from its junction with Bank Street to its junction with Academy Way.
The Order will be effective from Friday 10th November 2017 for 2 weeks when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Bank Street, Academy Way.
The restrictions are required to facilitate essential highway works associated with the Time Square development. DATED 26th October 2017 Ref HIGH/1813

ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS. THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (A574 WARRINGTON ROAD, CULCHETH) (REVOCATION AND INTRODUCTION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 81, 82, 83, 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 24tti October 2017. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1) The Orders specified on Column 1 of Schedule 1 below are revoked to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 1.

2) To introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on the restricted road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 below to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 2.

3) To introduce a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 3 below to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 3.

The Order will be effective from Monday 30th October 2017.
A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason for making the Order, together with plans of the restricted areas, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 24th October 2017, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (ADMIRALS ROAD) (ESTABLISHMENT OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING) 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, by the installation of a Zebra Crossing facility on the road as specified in the schedule to this Notice.
Details of the proposal together with a plan showing the site of the crossing and a Statement of Reasons for the Council proposing to make the crossing may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.
All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Cheryl Nicholson of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 16th November 2017 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
