ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 as Amended - SECTION 14(1) THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS PASTURE LANE, RAINFORD, ST HELENS TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2017


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 28th September 2017 the Council of St. Helens made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles and no pedestrians shall proceed along Pasture Lane in either direction from a point adjacent to The Bungalow in a south easterly direction for a distance of 240 metres.
that on the 28th September 2017 the Council of St. Helens made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles and no pedestrians shall proceed along Pasture Lane in either directionfrom a point adjacentto The Bungalow in a south easterly direction for a distance of 240 metres.

The alternative route for drivers affected by this Order will be via Church Road, Mossborough Road and the A570 Rainford by-pass, and vice versa. The Order will come into force on Thursday 28th September 2017, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months howeverthe work is likely to be complete within 3 months. The reason for making this Order is to facilitate repairs to The retaining wall at the side of the road.
