The Order will be effective from Sunday 17th September 2016 between the hours of 4.00am and 2:00pm. The restrictions will be in place when the relevant signs are on site. Access will be under the control of the event organiser for the duration of the event. The alternative route will be via London Road, Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington New Bridge, Bridge Foot, Wilson Patten Street, Parker Street, Liverpool Road, Sankey Way, Priestley Street, Froghall Lane, Midland Way, Manchester Road, Kingsway North, Kingsway South, Knutsford Road, Cliff Lane and vice versa. The restrictions are required to facilitate The English Half Marathon Festival of Run. Ref HIGH/1790

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a prohibition of driving except for access on the roads detailed in the Schedule to this notice.

The Order will be effective from Monday 4th September 2017 and will remain in force for a period not exceeding 18 months. The Council will be considering in due course, within the Experimental Order period, whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should continue in force indefinitely.
