ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 MOULDERS LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a:
Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Academy Way and Moulders Lane) (Prohibition of Driving and Suspension) Order 2016 in so far as it relates to:
Temporary One Way To prohibit any vehicle from proceedings along Moulders Lane other than from
east to west from south to north. Temporary Prohibition of Driving
Moulders Lane From its junction with Academy Way for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction.
The Order will be effective from Monday 10th April 2017 for a period of 13 weeks, however it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be in place between the hours of 9am - 5pm when signed on site. As part of the implementation of the works, it will be necessary to maintain the closure for certain aspects of the works beyond the general hours stated above. The reason for the temporary restrictions is to allow for highway improvement works, including drainage, associated footway and carriageway surfacing, installation of cladding panels and concrete pouring associated with the MSCP development.

LATHOM AVENUE. NORTH AVENUE. SHAWS AVENUE. EAST AVENUE. WEST AVENUE & ADJACENT STREETS. WARRINGTONfPROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order on 9th February 2017 under Section 14 of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which was: -
Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway
Lathom Avenue - Its entire length North Avenue - Its entire length
Shaw's Avenue - Its entire length East Avenue - Its entire length
West Avenue - Its entire length
Grace Avenue - From its junction with North Avenue for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction.
Corbett Avenue (northern and southern access points) - From its junction with North Avenue for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction.
Mortimer Avenue - From its junction with West Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction.
Central Avenue - From its junction with Shaw's Avenue to its junction with Fitzherbert Street.
The Order was effective from Monday 20th February 2017 for a period of 6 weeks. However as a result of
engineering difficulties with the existing drainage the closure is to be extended for a further 4 weeks until
30th April 2017.
The alternative routes are:
North Avenue via Alder Lane, Statham Avenue, Ireland Street and vice versa
Lathom Avenue via Mortimer Avenue, Alder Lane, Central Avenue and vice versa
Shaw's Avenue via Alder Lane, Central Avenue and vice versa
East Avenue and West Avenue via Alder Lane, Shaw's Avenue, South Avenue and vice versa.
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake essential carriageway resurfacing

ACADEMY WAY AND MOULDERS LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which was: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Footway Closure Academy Way - from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Moulders Lane. Academy Way (westbound traffic only) - from its junction with Bank Street to its junction with Moulders Lane. Temporary One Way
To prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Moulders Lane other than from east to west and from south to north
Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Town Centre Traffic Management Scheme) (No. 1) Order 1979, in so far as it relates to Schedule 2 (One Way Traffic) and the following section of carriageway: -
Moulders Lane - From north to south and from west to east.
The Order was effective from Monday 13th February 2017 for a period of 7 weeks. However as a result of engineering difficulties with the construction of the highway works the closure is to be extended for a further weeks until 16th April 2017.
The alternative route for Academy Way are via Academy Street, Mersey Street, Church Street roundabout, Fennel Street, Brick Street, Midland Way, Crosfield Street, Sankey Street, Bold Street, Suez Street, Rylands Street, Bridge Street.
The restrictions are required to undertake the highway improvement works associated with the Bridge Street development. Ref: HIGH/1708

ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS.
THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (LONGSHAW STREET) (REVOCATION AND INTRODUCTION OF 20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1,2,4,84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1) The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads, Bewsey)(RevocatJon and 20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2005 is revoked in so far as it relates to Longshaw Street from the back of the footway on the northern side of Hawthorne Street for a distance of 350 metres in a northerly direction.

2) To introduce a 20 miles per hour speed limit on Longshaw Street from its junction with Folly Lane to a point 30 metres north west of its junction with Lilford Avenue.

The northbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road to make a U-Tum at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in the opposite direction in the southbound carriageway. The southbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road to make a U-Turn at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in the opposite direction in the northbound carriageway. TO PROHIBIT ALL VEHICLES FROM MAKING A RIGHT TURN ON:
The northbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon
Way so as to proceed in a north easterly direction on the south westbound spur of Charon Way.

proceed in a northerly direction on Burtonwood Road.
TO PROHIBIT ALL VEHICLES FROM MAKING A LEFT TURN ON:
The southbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in a north easterly direction on the south westbound spur of Charon Way. INTRODUCTION OF ONE-WAY:
To prohibit all motor vehicles proceeding along the section of Charon Way from its junction with the roundabout at the M62 Junction 8, for a distance of 115 metres in any direction other than easterly. To prohibit all motor vehicles proceeding along the section of Charon Way between its junction with Burtonwood Road and a point 145 metres north east of Burtonwood Road in any direction other than south westerly.
TO PROHIBIT ALL MOTOR VEHICLES FROM ENTERING THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROADS:
Burtonwood Road (Section between M62 Junction 8 and Westbrook Way) to Charon Way
M62 Junction 8 Roundabout to northeast bound side of carriageway on Skyline Drive
M62 Junction 8 Roundabout to eastbound slip road leaving the M62 at Junction 8
M62 Junction 8 Roundabout to north westbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road (section between M62
Junction 8 and Westbrook Way)
M62 Junction 8 Roundabout to southbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road (section between Lockheed Road and M62 Junction 8 roundabout)

The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1) The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads in Walton) (Revocation, Speed Limits and 24 Hour Clearway) Order 2010 is revoked in so far as it relates to Schedule 2 - 40mph Speed Limit

A56, Chester Road From a point 63 metres south west of its junction with A56 Walton New Road to the centre of the junction with Runcorn Road.
2) To introduce a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the A56 Chester Road from a point 213 metres south west of its junction with A56 Walton New Road to the centre of the junction with Runcorn Road.

3) To introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on A56 Chester Road between a point 213 metres south west and a point 63 metres south west of its junction with A56 Walton New Road.
