ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 BURTONWOOD ROAD (FOOTWAY CLOSURE)TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a footway closure on the eastern footway on Burtonwood Road from its junction with Charon Way to a point approximately 160m north of its junction with Kingswood Road.

The Order will be effective from Tuesday 21st March 2017 for up to 12 months when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via the western footway of Burtonwood Road and temporary controlled crossing facilities. The closure is required to allow for essential works to protect the underground utility services. Ref: HIGH/1725

The Order will be effective on Monday 13th March 2017 for 7 weeks, between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm, however the restrictions and closures will be in place when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works. Signed diversion routes will be provided on site throughout the duration of the works. THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (FOUNDRY STREET, WARRINGTON) (REVOCATION OF ONE-WAY) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers on 7th March 2017. The effect of the Order is as follows: -1. The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-Way) Order 1976, is hereby further varied or amended by the deletion from the second Schedule of:-

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 7th March 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
