THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (SANDY LANE AND NEW LANE, CROFT) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway Sandy Lane - Its entire length

New Lane - From its junction with Smithy Lane to its junction with Lady Lane Pasture Drive - From its junction with New Lane to its junction with Gosling Road Eaves Brow Road - From its junction with New Lane to its junction with Wadeson Way The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2017 for a period of 6 weeks. The closures are expected to be in operation between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The restrictions will be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be:-

Sandy Lane - via Mustard Lane, Heath Lane and vice versa

New Lane - via New Lane, Lady Lane, Mustard Lane, Lord Street, Smithy Lane and

vice versa.

The restrictions and closures are required to undertake essential carriageway resurfacing works.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (WIGSHAW LANE, CROFT) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and clearway on Wigshaw Lane from its junction with Glaziers Lane to its junction with Pendle Gardens.

The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2017 for a period of 15 weeks, however the restrictions and closures will be in place as and when the signs are in place. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Glaziers Lane, Warrington Road, Common Lane, Wigshaw Lane and vice versa.

The restrictions are required to allow for essential bridge maintenance works and the construction of a temporary access scaffold to be undertaken alongside the existing bridge.

SECTION 90A HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 ESTABLISHMENT OF ROAD HUMPS -MARTINSCROFT GREEN. WOOLSTON. WARRINGTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Warrington Borough Council intends, as part of its traffic calming proposals, to install road humps at Martinscroft Green opposite and adjacent to the boundary between properties no. 3 and 5 and adjacent to the gable end side of property no. 11.

A copy of the plan for the proposed scheme area and the Statement of the Council's Reasons may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Jo Nugent of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 9th February 2017 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers on 17th January 2017. The Order will be effective from Monday 30th January 2017. A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason for making the Order, together with a plan of the restricted areas, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 17th January 2017, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
