ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (WIGSHAW LANE, CROFT) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and clearway on Wigshaw Lane from its junction with Glaziers Lane to its junction with Pendle Gardens. The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2017 for a period of 15 weeks, however the restrictions and closures will be in place as and when the signs are in place. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Glaziers Lane, Warrington Road, Common Lane, Wigshaw Lane and vice versa.

The restrictions are required to allow for essential bridge maintenance works and the construction of a temporary access scaffold to be undertaken alongside the existing bridge.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (SANDY LANE AND NEW LANE. CROFT) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice,

the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984. The effect of which will be as follows: -

Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway

Sandy Lane Its entire length

New Lane From its junction with Smithy Lane to its junction with Lady Lane



Pasture Drive From its junction with New Lane to its junction with Gosling Road Eaves Brow Road From its junction with New Lane to its junction with Wadeson Way The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2017 for a period of 6 weeks. The closures are expected to be in operation between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The restrictions will be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be:-

Sandy Lane - via Mustard Lane, Heath Lane and vice versa

New Lane - via New Lane, Lady Lane, Mustard Lane, Lord Street, Smithy Lane and

vice versa.

The restrictions and closures are required to undertake essential carriageway resurfacing works.

WARRINGTON) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND FOOTWAY CLOSUREVTEMPORARY ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is as follows:-Prohibition of Driving Order

Academy Street (south east bound traffic only) from its junction with Academy Way to its junction with Mersey Street Footway Closure

Academy Street from its junction with Academy Way to its junction with Mersey Street The Order will be effective from 16th January 2017 for a period of 4 weeks. The restrictions and closures will be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Academy Way, Bank Street, Mersey Street. The works are required to undertake highway improvement work associated with the Bridge Street Development (Time Square). Works include new kerbing, footway surfacing, street lighting and carriageway surfacing.
