ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (A49 WINWICK ROAD & A573PARKSIDE ROAD, NEWTON LE WILLOWS) (TEMPORARY 10MPH, 20MPH 30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMIT, PROHIBITION OF PARKING, LOADING, WAITING, DRIVING, PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18th day of January, 2022, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist to proceed in either direction, park, load, wait or proceed at a speed greater than 10MPH, 20MPH, 30MPH and 40MPH along the roads listed in Schedule 1, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.

The Order came into force on Monday 31st January 2022, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works.

The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the construction of the Parkside Link Road.
