Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
A50 Knutsford Rd & Station Rd (Prohibition of Driving & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2021 The effect of which will be as follows: Prohibition of Driving It Footway Closure: A50 Knutsford Rd from its jet. with Thelwall New Rd to its jet. with Kingsway Sth; Prohibition of Driving: Station Rd from its jet. with Grammar School Rd to its jet. with Knutsford Rd. The Order will be effective from 29th March 2021. The works are to be undertaken in the following phases: Phase 1 - Footway Closure: 29th March 2021 to 16th April 2021 between 9:30am & 3:30pm, Monday to Friday; Phase 2 - Road Closures: 15th April 2021 between 7pm & Midnight. The restrictions will be in place when signed on site. The alternative routes will be as follows:- A50 Knutsford Rd: Northbound via Chester Rd, Grapenhall Rd, London Rd, Wilderspool Cswy, Brian Bevan Island, Knutsford Rd; Southbound via Knutsford Rd, Wilderspool Cswy, Brian Bevan Island, London Rd, Grapenhall Rd, Chester Rd; Footway Closure via the opposite footway; Station Rd via Knutsford Rd, Wash Ln, Station Rd or via Higher Knutsford Rd, Hunts Ln, Ackers Rd, Chester Rd, Grapenhall Rd, London Rd, Wilderspool Cswy, Bridge Foot, Knutsford Rd, Wash Ln, Station Rd. The restrictions are required for highway improvement works to the footway/carriageway & traffic signal installation. Ref: High/2188

A57/A49 (Cockhedge Green) Roundabout & Adjacent St's (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2021
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: A57/ A49 (Cockhedge Green) Roundabout - Its entire length; From A57/A49 (Cockhedge Green) Roundabout for 100m along the following lengths of road: A49 Lythgoes Ln; Battersby Ln; A57 Manchester Rd; A49 Brick St; A57 Midland Way. The Order will be effective from 29th March 2021 for 5 weeks between 7pm & 1am, when signed on site. The alternative route for A57/A49 (Cockhedge Green) Roundabout will be via Cromwell Ave, Sankey Way, Liverpool Rd, Parker St, Wilson Patten St, Bridgefoot, Mersey St, Fennel St & vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing. Ref: High/2090
Dam Ln. Croft (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2021
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Ln from its jet. with Smith Brow to its jet. with Smithy Ln. The Order will be effective from 31 st March 2021 for 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Smith Ln, Smithy Brow & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for British Telecom to renew overhead cables. Ref: High/2201

Hob Hey Ln. Culcheth (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2021
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Hob Hey Ln from its jet. with Claremont Rd to its jet. with Beechmill Dr. The Order will be effective from 29th March 2021 for 2 days, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Wigshaw Ln, Common Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for British Telecom to renew overhead cables. Ref: High/2200

Various Rd's in Walton/Poplars & Hulme (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2021
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Melton Ave its entire length; Neville Ave from 96 Neville Ave to 158 Neville Ave; Bentham Ave its entire length. The Order will be effective from 22nd March 2021 for 6 weeks between 8:30am & 5:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative routes are Melton Ave via Granby Rd, Grantham Ave, Belvoir Rd & vice versa, or via Granby Rd, Whitefield Rd, Belvoir Rd & vice versa; Neville Ave via Neville Ave, Park Rd & vice versa; Bentham Ave via Howson Rd, Poplars Ave, Statham Ave, Honister Ave & vice versa, or via Howson Rd, Appleby Fid, Honister Ave & vice versa. The closures are required for carriageway & footway surfacing. Ref: High/2170

Bell Ln. Thelwall (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bell Ln from its jet. with Thelwall New Rd to its jet. with Lymm Rd. The Order will be effective from 9th March 2021 for 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative mute will be via Bradshaw Ln, Knutsford Rd, Stockport Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for Scottish Power to carry out substation upgrade works. Ref: High/2199
