ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (WINSTANLEY ROAD. ASHTON IN MAKERFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 3rd day of June, 2020, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit a vehicle to proceed in either direction along Winstanley Road between Garswood Road and the Wigan Boundary, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site. The Order will come into force on Monday 13th July 2020, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be six weeks. The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the installation of electricity ducting in the carriageway. Dated this 11th day of June, 2020.
