Lightbulb Festivals Limited has given to Halton Borough Council an application for the grant of a Premises Licence for an area on Spike Island a public park located on the banks of the River Mersey in the West Bank area of Widnes.Running through the site is the Sankey Canal. The area of the park that lies to the east of the canal is therefore surrounded by water on all sides which creates an ‘island’. The application is for part of this Island. It is for the following licensable activities on 16th May 2020 Provision of Live Music 11.00-23.00 Provision of Recorded Music 11.00-23.00 Sale of alcohol by retail 11.00-23.00 The Licensing Register of Halton Borough Council is held at Runcorn Town Hall, Heath Road, Runcorn Cheshire, but is not held on line, please contact legalservices@halton.gov.uk for details. The record of the application may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council's above address and via contacting Halton Council Representations which shall be made in writing, or electronically, may be made by a responsible authority or any other person to Halton Borough Council, to be received at their above address by no later than 25th day of January 2020 It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction being £5,000.
