Why are people surprised that Ineos Chlor have moved the goal posts on the amount of fuel they would be bringing into the new incinerator on Picow Farm Road? This is normal for big companies, – they promise the earth and then when they have a foot in the door or an incinerator in Runcorn, they up the ante. Ineos will always have known the amount of fuel they would have to bring to Runcorn to make the incinerator financially viable they just had to find a way to make it acceptable initially to the residents so they could build it. Ineos is a business and they are in it to make money, do not kid yourselves they they have our best interests at heart, they do not. The question you have to ask is how much is too much? The health of the residents in this region is already the poorest in the country, every breath we or our children take is affecting us and it will only get worse. Philippa Daley Runcorn
