Kindness of a stranger

We would like to say a sincere thanks to a complete stranger for their act of kindness. The man rang our house early on Wednesday, July 13, to let us know that sadly he'd found our pet cat Finn lifeless at the roadside near Stobart’s depot on Manor Farm, Runcorn. We didn’t get his phone number during the call, our minds being understandably on what he’d said. While we were clearly very upset by the loss of our great pet, at least the man gave us the opportunity to know Finn’s fate and to recover him. It was very good of him in this very busy world we inhabit, to take the time and compassion to help in this way. We are all extremely grateful. The Ash Family Sandymoor, Runcorn
