HALTON Transport passengers are getting a raw deal, especially if they live in Runcorn.
People buying a daily or weekly season ticket are being ripped off because Halton Transport buses don’t cross the bridge from Widnes after 6pm.
This means you must be like Cinderella and make sure you get home early or fork out more money to use an Arriva bus.
Why can’t the bus companies simply get together and have one shared season ticket that passengers can use on all buses in Widnes and Runcorn?
Why don’t Halton Transport buses continue to serve Runcorn passengers during the evening?
I’ve also noticed that Halton Transport buses are very dirty on the outside and often smelly inside while Arriva buses gleam. Even when I get on my way to work in the morning, you can hardly see out of the bus windows.
Let’s put some pride back in our public transport.
Come on, Halton Transport, you've just celebrated your centenary, it’s not difficult to put your vehicles through a wash every night. Passengers are entitled to travel in clean, well-cared for buses.
