IT was fantastic to see such an amazing pianist perform at The Brindley on Saturday.
Russian Alexander Karpeyev played with such power, passion, energy and enthusiasm, he took your breath away.
I have never seen anyone bring a grand piano to life with such verve and vigour.
Such gifted world-class classical musicians have only been brought to Widnes and Runcorn, thanks to Halton Music Society.
Sadly, this community group is folding this year.
I hope Halton Council will continue bringing top classical music performers to The Brindley and the public will carry on supporting them.
