HAVING been a patient at Warrington Hospital and the Countess of Chester, I plead that the wards of Halton Hospital be re-opened as soon as possible.

The NHS should consider all disciplines, especially medical.

Perhaps, eventually they could establish a cardiac team there. Let’s hope that the proposed new entrance is just a start. My wife, who spent her life in nursing, thoroughly agrees with the scope of this once-splendid hospital.

The many people who have commented on the friendliness and efficiency of Halton are right to make their views known in the hope that Halton Hospital’s status will be restored to a first-class hospital.
