Urban Commando I am the urban commando I dodge under washing lines Sneak secretly behind the hedges Making secret messages with cans and string I crawl on my belly dodging the enemy My mother in coloured pinny sings I watch as she plants plastic pegs And taps out Morse code with her feet I am the urban commando on patrol Looking after our back garden and our street I'm young for a solder they say Even five-year-olds fight battles in our heads.
