HAS anybody considered the religious requirements of Halton residents living in and around the Widnes area?

There is a Thai Buddhist temple close to the Silver Jubilee Bridge (Runcorn side) and some Thai residents may be prevented, or impeded, from visiting the temple to exercise their religious rights due to cost reasons.

Any tolls incurred for visiting a place of worship are clearly prejudicial, in my opinion.

I would appreciate the feedback and comments of other Haltonians.

These people are more likely to use the old bridge than the new one due to the closeness of the temple.
