WE went to register our car for the tolls as my husband works the majority of the time over the bridge, only to find that they only accept full UK licences.

Has anyone even thought that a European citizen may live and work in this town called Runcorn?

Why penalise someone once again for not being British?

I am sure if this happened in a major city they wouldn’t ask for a UK licence.

My husband has driven to many places around the world and is a careful and competent driver.

So now we have to change the licence, which costs money, to then be told he needs to take his test again.

The world has gone mad.
