YOUR article regarding the swearing in of Liverpool’s newly elected metro mayor Steve Rotherham stated he would not allow any borough to fall behind.
This being the case, could he be reminded that Halton residents do not benefit from the over 60s Merseytravel rail passes as areas of Merseyside do.
I am sure, as he is responsible for transport, this falls inside his remit.
