The Silver Jubilee Bridge will soon be tolled, as will the new Mersey Gateway
THE toll charges on the new Mersey Gateway and the Silver Jubilee Bridge are a complete disgrace.
We live on Sutton Weaver, which is part of Cheshire West and Chester.
We are two miles from the bridge and are part of the Runcorn postal code but we don’t get the free toll.
So many people I work with who live in Warrington now have to find other jobs because £1,000 a year is far too much, considering the cost of living in this country and the low wages.
