I WANTED to give my opinion on the receptionists at a doctors’ surgery in Widnes.
I am disgusted after ringing my doctors more than 200 times to be told there were no appointments.
I stressed that I have a few serious health conditions.
A couple of times before now the carers centre has phoned on my behalf to explain that when I call for an appointment I need to be given one.
After this was said recently the receptionist asked me rather abruptly what my emergency was.
I stated I didn’t want to talk to her about it and she told me she couldn’t give me an appointment.
Since when have receptionists had qualifications to say I need to be seen or not?
I have five medical conditions, two of which are rare.
I can’t be seen in the Widnes Urgent Care Centre as they don’t know what to give me due to how rare the illnesses are.
