MY friend who is in his 60s slipped in Runcorn town centre on Thursday, January 12.
He would like to ‘thank’ the five people who walked past him and totally ignored his plight, especially as he had broken his ankle.
Genuine thanks to the staff and delivery driver from Lloyds chemist who looked after him and called the ambulance.
I am grateful to those who cared for him but I am saddened that some people are lacking any compassion to help a stranger in obvious need.
