I FELL at home two weeks before Christmas and knocked my head on the corner of a coffee table.
Because I am on Warfarin, I bled like mad.
I scrambled across the floor and managed to press my red button which alerts an emergency response.
I just want to say that I have nothing but praise for everyone who came to my aid.
The ambulance crew deserve a pat on the back for taking such good care of me. From the moment I arrived at Warrington Hospital I can honestly say the service was absolutely superb.
Within an hour I was cleaned up, seen by a doctor, had an MRI scan and was on a ward.
I am fed up of listening to people complain about this hospital and moan about a lack of staff and ambulances queueing up. I found all the staff to be extremely courteous and reassuring.
My accident happened late at night so I expected it to be busy, but the service I received was fast and furious.
I want to thank everyone for their kindness and first class care.
