Tolling gantries like this will soon appear on the approach roads to the Silver Jubilee Bridge
I HAVE just read in the Runcorn and Widnes World that they are installing test toll equipment.
How can they toll an existing road that has been paid for over many years through people paying their road tax?
This is not part of the Mersey Gateway, it is an existing road bridge.
I believe that the A14 was widened some time ago and they tried to toll this road but were unable to do so as it was an existing road.
