I WRITE in reply to the article in last week’s World sent in by Andrea Forshaw.
I totally and utterly agree 110 per cent with what she said.
I am not a vegetarian but have been in the past. I am a passionate animal lover and get very upset at the way animals are treated.
Animal have beating hearts and feelings, despite what people might think.
They are beautiful and I get that we eat them, but please let them have a decent quality of life before they are sent to slaughter.
I often say to my husband ‘the thought of animals being treated poorly in their last moments of life upsets me so much’.
What is wrong with people?
Why do they seem to get so much joy and pleasure out of hurting animals? The mind boggles.
