I READ an article in the World on November 4 about a fund being set up to encourage young people to take a stand against homophobia.
I wonder why, in these days of cutbacks, the council is providing funding to help teach young people against homophobia?
Why does anybody need funding for such matters?
Name and address supplied
Halton Youth Cabinet has secured funding from Halton Council and Young Addaction Halton to establish a challenge champions programme.
The plan is to recruit 12 people aged 11 to 19, who will receive training around the impact and effects of homophobic bullying.
