CAN I add my opinion to vehicles parking on pavements?
They should not be allowed to park on them at all. The pavements are there for the benefit of the pedestrians only.
That is why there is a kerb there to show the difference between the pavement, which is for the pedestrians. and the road that is for motor vehicles.
Never mind this rubbish that if you can get a pram past on the pavement it is ok.
They should all be fined for this illegal parking.
They park illegally at the bottom of Peelhouse Lane on the pavement and on double yellow lines in front of the traffic lights, causing an obstruction and on new-laid block paving and tarmac outside of the taxi rank and beauty shop, but the police and council do not want to do anything about it.
There is all this talk about the cost of pavement repairs. If they stopped the parking on pavements it would not cost them anything.
None pavement-parking motorist
