TO the horrid man who was beating his beautiful, blond-coloured golden retriever, I hope you’re ashamed of yourself.
It happened on Friday, July 10, on Earle Road in Widnes at about 8.45am.
I’m ashamed of myself for doing nothing but I was afraid. I was in my car when I witnessed this.
He was in his 40s or 50s, dressed in a white T-shirt and dark pants.
I reported him to a community police officer who said he may walk the route regularly and he would keep a lookout for him.
I do hope he sees him sometime.
It was upsetting to watch.
