I CAN’T believe how fast the roads and junctions in Runcorn and Widnes are changing as the construction of the Mersey Gateway takes shape.
Every time I drive over the bridge to Runcorn there seems to be another junction closed off and more heaps of soil piled up at the side of the expressway.
Only thing that bothers me is all the road dirt in Victoria Road near the Ashley Way traffic lights.
It’s not worth cleaning the car as every time I drive along there it gets covered in muck, especially when it rains.
I realise HGV trucks are going in and out down to the construction site by the river but it would be helpful if they could wash down the road at frequent intervals.
