I HAVE never seen so much tacky Halloween rubbish stacked up in all our supermarkets as were on display this year.

Aisles were bursting at the seams in the supermarkets in Widnes and Runcorn. This Americanised idea is now just a money-making racket.

No wonder parents are mithered so much by their children wanting to dress up in ready made costumes.

Whatever happened to making your own?

I went into one shop looking for Christmas tree lights and was told there was no room to put them on the shelves until after Halloween.

This pagan festival not only takes over our shops but fills people with unnecessary fear.
