CAN I urge anyone who is retired, approaching retirement age or has spare time on their hands to consider doing voluntary work at Halton Citizens Advice Bureau?

I’ve been volunteering at the CAB for three years and it has been great fun. I’ve learnt new skills, made some great friends and most of all I genuinely feel I’ve made a difference by helping local people solve their problems.

I didn’t have any prior legal experience and so the CAB taught me from scratch.

The training is excellent and very interactive, not like school lessons. But best of all for me, I’ve now found a job and so I join the ranks of many of the former CAB volunteers who have found employment thanks to our time at the CAB.

If I can do it, so can you!
