Anthony Sullivan to leave Vikings post at end of October

Widnes Vikings has announced that Coach and Player Development Manager Anthony Sullivan is to leave the club at the end of October.

The former dual-code international joined the Vikings in September 2011 with a remit of supporting and mentoring the coaches working on the clubs Scholarship programme, Service Areas and Player Development pathways.

Anthony will now relinquish his position to embark on the next chapter of his life, commenting: “After a long association with the game I feel that now is the time for me to explore other possibilities that lie outside the sport.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all at Widnes Vikings the very best in their future endeavours.”

Vikings CEO James Rule added: “I would like to thank Anthony for his contribution to the Widnes Vikings. “We wish him the best of luck in his future career.”
