With this weekend’s Champions of Champions game at Blackpool postponed, Vikings’ officials have worked hard to secure another pre-season fixture and are pleased to announce that they will face St Helens at the Stobart Stadium, Halton on Tuesday 19th January at 7.30pm, a game which is sponsored by World of Beds.
Given the closeness of the game, tickets will not be on sale but admission will be by cash on the turnstiles on the evening, with fans that have purchased tickets for the World of Beds Cup game against Warrington being able to use them to gain entry on the night or against Salford on 24th January.
Vikings’ CEO Alex Bonney said, “We are aware of the need of the team to get in match practice prior to the start of the Northern Rail Cup and, although the weather will have a part to play in it, this game should be a good opener for the squad and I know the prospect of bringing the Karalius Cup back to Widnes is an attractive one.”
Admission to the Karalius Cup, sponsored by World of Beds, is £12 adults, £6 concessions and on the night fans will have the chance to win a £1000 king size dorlux pocket sprung organic divan bed donated by World of Beds with all proceeds going to the Valhalla Foundation.
