Katy Perry and Russell Brand won't be talking about their relationship once they get married.

The comedian and California Gurls singer have started to make plans to tie the knot after getting engaged on a trip to India in January following a whirlwind romance.

But Katy, 25, said: "We've decided that after we get married, we're not going to talk about our relationship anymore".

Explaining her reasons, she said "because it's like, we're married, so we're married. What more can I say?"

Katy said the romance was not for the cameras despite the couple's public displays of affection.

"But I think that we understand the general excitement, and we're two people in love, and people in love like to tell people we are in love," she said.
