Curb Your Enthusiasm star Susie Essman has revealed fans are always approaching her and begging her to shout and swear at them.
The actress play's Susie Greene, the short-tempered wife of Larry David's manager Jeff in the hit show, who is always losing her temper with the pair, and her admirers prefer abuse to autographs.
Susie revealed: "The fans are always coming up to me - I live in New York, they do it to me in New York, they do it to me in London - and they're constantly begging me to curse at them - my life has become very, very bizarre."
The actress believes her character's anger is what makes her so popular.
She explained: "She's so comfortable in her anger. I was doing a radio show once and there was this rapper, I don't know who he was - he was a famous guy. And he introduced himself to me and said 'Hi, my name is Bob, but my hip-hop name is blah blah blah', and this girl said 'Hi, my name is Jennifer but my hip hop name is blah blah blah'.
"And I looked at them and said 'well, what would my hip-hop name be?'. He thought for a second and went 'Short Fuse'. So I thought that was the perfect hip-hop name for Susie Greene is Short Fuse. And I think that's what it is - she's just volatile. She'll just go off. It's not a Tourette's thing. It's just volatility."
