WIDNES Vikings have suffered a big blow with strike centre Krisnan Inu breaking his leg in the game against Warrington.
He had surgery earlier today - and that was successful.
Just to clear the air on those wondering, since I’ve just had my op a few hours ago, now I’m pretty sure I can say it’s about 10-12 weeks on the sideline. Sorry @WidnesRL fans.. I’ll be back even stronger then before. Let’s keep supporting our team and this great club!! pic.twitter.com/htqJavTmVI

Inu joins Lloyd White (calf), Patrick Ah Van (broken arm), Hep Cahill (ligament damage) and Jay Chapelhow (broken thumb) on the sidelines, whilst Chris Dean is doubtful following a concussion.
However, there is some positive news ahead of Saturday's trip to Hull KR (6.30pm).
Vikings will be boosted by the return of Joe Mellor and Matt Whitley, who are in contention after returning from their respective injuries, while Rhys Hanbury, Gil Dudson and Chris Houston are back in the fold after missing out on Easter Monday against St Helens.
Vikings head into the game in 8th place in Super League, after the two defeats to Warrington and St Helens over the Easter Weekend.
Hull Kingston Rovers, who returned to the top flight this year, have four points.
