WIDNES Vikings second rower Macgraff Leuluai has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The 26-year-old, brother of former Wigan star Thomas, pens a deal that ties him to the Select Security Stadium until the end of the 2018 season.

Leuluai has a total of 119 appearances over the last 5 years after signing for the club back in 2011 when the club was in the Championship.

He commented: “I am really pleased to have extended my deal, I feel I have developed further as a player over my time at Widnes and I look forward to moving on to big things with the Club under Denis.”

Head coach Denis Betts also expressed his delight with Leuluai’s decision.

“Macgraff is what this group is all about, hard working and honest,” he said.

“He often gives the team, and the spectators, a lift with his defensive efforts and I am really pleased to have secured his services for the next two seasons.”
