LONG-TIME club sponsor Electrod UK has pledged its support from the 2016 season for another three years and the brand will appear on the complete range of Widnes Vikings training wear.

This year the Electrod UK brand is on the Vikings away shirts and the company’s association with the Club has generated significant positive interest in the electrical contracting company based in Runcorn.

Vikings chief executive James Rule said: “We have established a fantastic relationship with Electrod UK through a variety of sponsorship agreements in recent years.

"On the strength of the relationship with Electrod UK we invited Managing Director Roddy Snedden to join the Widnes Vikings Board of Directors. Roddy is now a part-owner of Widnes Vikings.

"I am delighted that Roddy has committed to sponsoring our training kit over the next three seasons. Long-term sponsorship commitments such as this one are integral to our continued growth.”

Electrod UK Managing Director Roddy Snedden commented: “I am delighted that Electrod UK have secured the Widnes Vikings training range sponsorship for the next three seasons.

"Our logo stands out really well which makes our brand easily recognisable on a wide range of kit.

"It has been great to see so many people around the borough wearing our brand on the away shirts this year and we are excited about seeing our logo on the training range from 2016.

"It is also pleasing to continue the company’s association with the Vikings as we both continue our future development.”
