Eight players have been charged with offences committed in First Utility Super League Round 8 matches.

Lloyd White of Widnes Vikings has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact on Warrington Wolves prop Chris Hill in the 24th minute of the fixture played on Thursday April 2.

Widnes player Danny Tickle has been charged with Grade B reckless striking on Gareth O’Brien in the 59th minute of the same fixture.

Anthony England of Warrington has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact on Cameron Phelps in the 29th minute of the same fixture.

Maurice Blair of Hull Kingston Rovers has been charged with making a Grade B dangerous throw on Hull FC player Joe Westerman in the 14th minute of the fixture played on Thursday April 2.

Hull KR player Mitch Allgood has been charged with making Grade A dangerous contact on Steve Michaels in the 72nd minute of the same fixture.

Jordan Rankin of Hull FC has been charged with making a Grade A trip on Kieran Dixon in the fourth minute of the same fixture.

Rangi Chase of Salford Red Devils has been charged with making a Grade E dangerous throw on Huddersfield Giants player Brett Ferres in the 15th minute of the fixture played on Friday April 3.

Salford player Weller Hauraki has been charged with Grade C reckless striking with the shoulder on Scott Grix in the 61st minute of the same fixture.

White, England, Blair and Rankin have until 11.00am on Wednesday (April 8) to submit Early Guilty Pleas. Tickle, Chase, Hauraki and Allgood do not have the option of submitting EGPs and will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Wednesday evening.

The players were charged after the offences were reviewed by the RFL Match Review Panel yesterday. All eight are available for selection for today’s Round 9 fixtures.
