THE Widnes Vikings have confirmed three pre-season friendly fixtures ahead of the 2015 First Utility Super League season.
They are Warrington v Widnes – Sunday 28 December, 3pm kick off, Halliwell Jones Stadium.
St Helens v Widnes – Sunday 18 January, 3pm kick off, Langtree Park.
Castleford v Widnes – Sunday 25 January, 3pm kick off Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
James Rule is pleased in particular that the Club will face Castleford before the regular season starts. He said: “I am delighted that we have an opportunity to play Castleford in a pre season friendly.
"Both clubs have worked closely together since the post match scenes at Leigh Sports Village after our semi-final match. This is an opportunity to put that incident behind us and continue the great rivalry that our clubs have always enjoyed.”
Ticket prices for the St Helens fixture have been confirmed.
Terrace: Adult/Concession/Junior - £10/£8/£5.
Seating: Adult/Concession/Junior - £12/£10/£5.
