RUNCORN Linnets have announced their shirt sponsors for the 2008-2009 season.

The home shirts will be sponsored by The Waterloo Hotel, Runcorn, and the away shirts are to be continued to be sponsored by ASL Maintenance Ltd.

Bel Oates, from the Waterloo Hotel - perhaps more famous as ‘The Archers’ from the BBC sitcom Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, said: “Gary and I are really pleased to help the club out with sponsoring the shirts, and look forward to the club returning to the town in the near future.”

And Steve Rodgers of ASL said: “Good luck again this season to the club, I am pleased, along with Alison, to help out with the sponsorship of the away shirts.”

Glyn Davies of the Runcorn Linnets board commented: “I am really pleased with the continued support from ASL, plus a huge thanks to The Waterloo Hotel for coming on board with us.”
