Bridge maintained top spot despite slipping up against rivals ebl. Bridge started the better and Jordan Neary and Liam Sweeney both had shots that flew wide of the post after being put through by Andy edgar and Josh Smith before Danny Cummins for ebl saw his shot fly high and wide in the 7th minute.Andy Edgar saw his free kick whistle over the bar in the 23rd minute and ebl themselves were unlucky not to score when Dean walker hit the upright before Bridge cleared and went on the attack again, Bridge then created the best chance of the game, with Andy Edgar putting Liam Sweeney clear and his shot flew wide. Bridge then again had hard luck when Josh Smiths shot was blocked at the last minute before Lewis Watsons brilliant through ball sent Edgar through but ebl's keeper saved well, Then ebl took the lead right before the half time whistle against the run of play when Reece Conlan lashed home from 18 yards out . Paul spence was introduced on the hour and immediately caused problems, his shot ws again blocked to give Bridge a corner.Karl Jenkins linked up well with Edgar whose return pass just got cleared before Jenkins could get a shot in. in the 64th minute, Walker put ebl 2 up with a turn and shot and with Bridge still dominating the game, they created many chances i which they couldnt convert.Andy edgar pulled a goal back in the 87th minute but despite creating 3 more chances in the dying minutes ebl held on for the win, Bridge created by far the most chances in the game but ebls finishing was the difference between the team,Timbers backline of Robbie Davis, David Sheaky, Ray Mcdonald, Peter Murphy and Chris Ellams limited them to a few chances but poor finishing lost Bridge the game .Andy edgar was Bridges man of the match.
