Bridge Timber F.C. 3 Waiting Rooms F.C. 2 The game was just 3 minutes old when Connor Taylor eluded the Waiting rooms defence and after he was dragged back in the area he stayed on his feet and his shot just went wide, on 11 minutes Ste Hickson then had a good shot saved afer being put through by Mike Chesters before Kev Ward broke the deadlock with a great strike after being put through by Karl Jenkins.midway through the 1st half, Connor Taylors defence splitting pass put Ste HIckson through and he made no mistake with a powerful shot under the keeper for 2-0. Bridge were passing the ball when and with Neil Larkin orchestrating most of Timbers attacks,on 37 minutes it was no surprise that Karl Thomas made it 3-0 after Connor Taylors shot was saved, Thomas was on hand to follow up to give Bridge a deserved lead. Waiting Rooms pulled 1 back through Perry Hughes on the stroke of half time with a good worked goal. On 54 minutes the games was marred by a sickening injury to Neil Larkin, after being tackled he landed on his neck and the game had to be stopped for 25 minutes while he was taken to hospital for treatment,Thankfully it was not as serious as first thought with Neil damaging his neck ligament, Both teams would like to wish Neil all the best i his recovery. With the game back on, Waiting Rooms got more into the game and on 65 minutes Tony Mulhearn headed home from a corner to make it 3-2 and with the game going from end to end, Karl Thomas was inches away from getting a touch on Kev Wards cross and Thomas Whalley headed home from close range for Bridge while Andy Stringer in the Bridge goal made an outstanding save to tip the ball onto the crossbar from a corner. Neil Larkin was awarded the man of the match for Bridge while Pery Hughes got it for Waiting Rooms.
