Wids face a tough test at Altrincham Kersal

Widnes face the toughest of challenges on Saturday when they travel to face Altrincham Kersal in their own back yard at Stelfox Avenue.
AK began the season with a disappointing performance away at Vale of Lune, but since then they have gone on an unbeaten six match run, culminating in a sensational away victory at previously unbeaten promotion favourites Sale.
However, this could be the perfect opportunity for Widnes to get straight back on the horse again after the disappointment of the home defeat by Carlisle, and with some of their missing players likely to be back in action, another terrific contest beckons.
